What is Ecofiction?

Ecofiction is fiction with a conscience.

Also known as eco-literature, these books range from mysteries to thrillers, yet they all share strong environmental themes.

Topics include the oceans (Float), ecopsychology (Falling Into Green), and endangered species (The Dragon Keeper and The Tourist Trail).

We also publish a young adult series of novels, called The Lithia Trilogy: Out of Breath, The Ghost Runner, and The Last Mile. In these books, wildlife and forest protection are central themes.

Our mission

Ashland Creek Press is an independent, vegan-owned publisher of eco-literature, which includes books in all genres about animals, the environment, and the planet we all call home. We are passionate about books that foster an appreciation for worlds outside our own, for nature and the animal kingdom, and for the ways in which we all connect.
